8 Ball sitting right at the corner pocket....Cue ball back in the kitchen area. What is the best way to hit the 8 ball in without scratching? Top right....low right? I got fancy and hit to the left of the pocket thinking as it came off the cushion it would hit the 8-ball in and then travel over to the right cushion...game won. Instead I hit to far in front of the pocket, it missed the 8 ball entirely and I ended up losing the match. Live and learn. lol

shoot at it with low left or low right depending on which corner it is in. If its in the left corner, shoot with low left so the cue ball draws into the side rail if its in the right corner, shoot low right to do the same. This will also help prevent any accidental follow which can occur if you shoot at the ball straight on, so the worst you can do is create a "stop" shot by shooting it low preventing a scratch... JMO
